The inciting incident
Back in the COVID days, I decided to give something another try. Something that I essentially got into this industry for but as so many of us do I got lost along the way, delivering lots of lovely corporate clients lots of lovely corporate content. Which is lovely I’m not knocking it, but I wanted to tell stories.
So I gave it another whirl, after all the shoots weren’t exactly coming in around that time…
and it went well.
P.R.I.
P.R.I. was born out of my love for absurd comedy (Hot Fuzz) and spooky monster-style shows (X Files) so I mashed them together.
It tells the story of Yemi James, a disgraced police officer who is transferred to the graveyard department of Paranormal Research Investigation (P.R.I.) just as things do begin to occur… Now Yemi must lead this inept team to combat the things that go bump in the night and within the department.
Festival / Accolades:
Golden Script Awards ¼ Finalist
Greenlight Coverage ranking: 80
Script and Pitch Deck available on request.
Carpe Diem
My first feature:
When a group of scared, vulnerable pensioners inherit a firearm, they embark upon a vigilante crime wave in small-town England.
Carpe Diem is a fairly recent addition to my roster, so it is still doing the rounds on the festival circuit + submissions.
A pitch deck is almost complete and a script is available on request.
Transparency / Disclaimer: There is obviously a lot of AI “slop” going on here in terms of image generation, but my slops and successes with the keyboard I can take full ownership of. Punctuation however…
